Meet the Founder

With over two decades of rich and diverse professional experience, I bring a deeply people-centric approach to everything I build and lead. My journey has been shaped by a natural ability to connect, understand, and empower individuals—an instinct that first found expression during my early years as a trainer with Nando's. Those formative five years laid a strong foundation in communication, behavioural understanding, and human engagement.

I further strengthened my academic grounding in London, where I pursued a BBA followed by an MBA from the University of Cumbria. Stepping into the dynamic world of retail thereafter, I had the opportunity to manage large, diverse teams and work closely with one of the leading electrical retail chains across the UK. This phase not only refined my leadership and operational acumen but also deepened my understanding of team dynamics and performance.

Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, I returned to India to carve my own path. I ventured into multiple business opportunities, including introducing the concept of brand management in Chandigarh at a time when it was still emerging. I also co-created a digital platform for singles to connect, which was later successfully acquired—marking an early milestone in my entrepreneurial journey.

For over 12 years, I have been associated with Inizio, where I have travelled extensively with school students on educational programmes. This experience has been profoundly transformative. Working closely with young individuals across cultures and environments offered me invaluable insights into human emotions, resilience, collaboration, and personal growth. It reinforced my belief that emotional awareness and the ability to express oneself are fundamental to a fulfilling life.

During the COVID period, I realised a lifelong aspiration by becoming a published author with my book "W.O.W Child." I further contributed to a multi-author publication, continuing my commitment to sharing knowledge and inspiring growth. To deepen my impact, I became a certified life skills coach and began working independently, helping individuals navigate life's complexities, build emotional strength, and unlock their potential.

All these experiences have culminated in the creation of Listening Diary—a structured, anonymous emotional and mental well-being platform designed to offer a safe and trusted space for individuals to be heard without judgment.

My vision is to build Listening Diary into one of the most trusted global platforms where people can express freely, find clarity, and grow—emotionally, mentally, and personally.

"At its core, Listening Diary stands on a simple yet powerful belief: being truly heard can be the beginning of transformation."

From the CTO's Desk

With over two decades of experience building and scaling technology across a broad range of industries, Harman has spent his career at the intersection of business and innovation — helping organisations grow, modernise, and compete through smart, purposeful technology.

Having founded and run successful ventures, and led technology strategy across businesses of varying scale and complexity, Harman knows first-hand what it takes to build platforms that people genuinely trust and rely on. That experience has sharpened his belief that the best technology is built not around features, but around people.

After years of solving business problems with technology, Harman found himself increasingly drawn to a different kind of question — one that sits closer to home for all of us. What are we actually building all of this for, if not for the wellbeing of the people it touches? That question led him to ListeningDiary, and to Vaneet's vision of a world where no one has to feel unheard.

Our collective responsibility as a team is to ensure that the platform we are building is worthy of the trust people place in it. That means infrastructure that is secure and resilient, an experience that feels effortless, and technology decisions that always put the person in need first. Mental health deserves the same rigour and care we would give to any mission-critical system — and then some.

This is the most meaningful work Harman has done. And it is only just beginning.

"After years of building for business, it feels right to build for something that matters in a more personal way — for the moments when people need to feel less alone."

— Harman Singh, Co-Founder & CTO
